The Floyd Factor Newsletter (Vol. 1) Mar. '07
Hello to our Floydian Friends, and welcome to the inaugural edition of The Factory! We'll try to keep you posted here on all things Factor, some Pink Floyd news, and a few diamonds in the rough.
The scheduled show at Raxx Brampton on May 25th has been cancelled by Floyd Factor, due to severe difficulties in working with the venue. We regret any disappointment, and will reschedule in the area soon.
Floyd Factor announces addition of guitarist Rob Masiokas!
Floyd Factor is over the moon about the addition of veteran guitarist, recording artist and engineer, Robert (Sparrow) Masiokas. Robert replaces original guitarist Kevin Whyte, who left the band in Feb. for personal reasons. Rob is returning to the live music scene after several years of recording & studio work, but has formerly worked in some of the top 80/90's tribute acts in Ontario. His top-flight guitar chops and extraordinary command of sounds are among the assets he immediately brings to the group. But first and foremost, like all the members of the Floyd Factor project, Robert is a long-time, zealous Pink Floyd fan who is intimately familiar with the nuances of PF's legendary recordings. The band had some great players sit in with us, and it was a tough decision in many respects, but we're really looking forward to debuting this killer new lineup!

Floyd Factor will be returning to live stages this summer, including their debut in beautiful Montreal. More info coming soon!
