Wow, what a way to mark an anniversary!!!
Big thanks to Q107 & Max Webster for being such great hosts to us last night at the Q107 30th Anniversary bash at The Docks in Toronto. What a fantastic party - and what an AMAZING set by the legendary, reunited (original lineup) Max Webster!! Maybe the best show of year here in TO, and the packed house of ticket winners was hanging on every note.
ALL expectations, which were as high as the crowd was, were exceeded. Highlights included opening the show with Oh War, as well as Charmonium, Let Go the Line, The Party, In Context of the Moon, A Million Vacations, Paradise Skies, Waterline, Battlescar (joined by Peter Freddette), and many more classics.
The celebration also included great sets by Goddo, Honeymoon Suite, Sass Jordan, Alannah Myles, and the inimitable David Wilcox.
So hats off to Max Webster & Q107 from Floyd Factor!! Let's not wait 30 years to do it again, okay?....
